It would be great if we could create a Gridpane-engineered farm of webservers with a central DB server, central file server (NFS?), all behind a load balancer... If you look at server pricing, you'll see that the most cost effective way of buying resources is to get the small boxes...1 or 2 cpu. So round up a dozen of those, unite them with db, fs, and lb, and poof, you have a web farm.
