At present, there is no direct link to the support portal from the GP dashboard. Users must either manually enter the link and/or dig up support emails to find the link. A direct link should be listed in the profile dropdown menu in the Support section (see screenshot)

That's what I thought, but i reached out to support and they suggested i come here and submit a feature request.. I admit that i found that a bit odd.. This is such an obviously needed feature..
Id call this a bug, asking team to issue bug ticket tbh
